French for a bet on the odd numbers. Pays 1 to 1.
Four cards to a straight with a gap inside, e.g. 7543 (vs 7654, an "open ender" that has double the chance of making the straight).
Making place bets on the 5, 6, 8 and 9.
A side bet offered when the dealer shows an ace. A player can wager up to half their original bet and win double the second bet if the dealer has a blackjack (thus losing nothing if the dealer does have a blackjack).
