MRG Group Becomes a Member of European Gaming and Betting Association

MRG Group (also known as Mr Green & Co) has joined the European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA) to cooperate and provide reliable gaming services to online players.

The membership is a new step in MRG policy, based on the desire to promote responsible gaming and create a better condition for customers in the iGaming industry. The company has already taken some measures in this direction by the launch of the Green Gaming tool that analyses the behavior of players and prevents them from compulsive gambling.

“MRG shares EGBA’s view that the industry must work closer together to create a safe and reliable European digital environment for iGaming players. Green Gaming has been a core of our strategy since the foundation of the Group and we are enthusiastic about contributing to the development of more Green iGaming services across Europe,”  says Per Norman, CEO of MRG.

“… providing a high level of consumer protection …

EGBA is a Brussels-based association of operators in the industry, which cooperates with national authorities to provide secure and responsible gambling to EU citizens. Currently, its members represent about 20 million customers, and this figure grows as the gaming industry is constantly developing.

Maarten Haijer, Secretary General, EGBA adds: “We are very pleased that MRG has joined the EGBA family and we look forward to working closely together with them towards an open, well-regulated market for online gaming in the EU and EEA. MRG brings a strong profile of responsibility, and together we will work towards developing attractive regulated markets that are capable of channeling consumers and providing a high level of consumer protection.”
