First card dealt face up to a player in stud poker.
A version of poker where the player receives two cards face down, four exposed, and then a final one face down. The best five card hand made from these seven cards wins.
The card with a rank of 3.
A straight draw that can be completed with cards of two ranks. E.g. either a 7 or a 2 will make 6543 a straight. An outside straight flush also requires that the card be of the same suit as the other four cards.
Another poker term for a draw to an inside straight. E.g. a hand of KQJ9, which needs a 10.
A version of seven-card stud hi/lo with two differences:
1) A player is dealt five cards, discards two, and turns one up;
2) It is a strictly pot limit game.

Connectors are cards of adjacent ranks, e.g. K and Q. Suited connectors also have the same suit.
The only card of a particular rank.
A hand that has a much better initial chance of winning than another. E.g. in hold'em, AK vs A9 or QQ vs 77.
A hand of A2345, which is a straight and, in most lowball games, the best possible low hand.
