Soon after announcing a new global marketing strategy, Betsson Group has another exciting news for their fans. The company will soon go live in Serbia. This expansion to Serbia became possible thanks to the recent acquisition of the gambling license. CEECA contributed 43% of Betsson’s revenue in the Q2 of 2023.

The obtained license allows the brand to provide high-quality services to Serbian players via Rizk Casino, which is a part Zecure Gaming, which was purchased by Betsson in 2020. Andrew Valenzia, Commercial Director for Betsson’s subsidiary Zecure Gaming is excited about the upcoming launch of their up-and-coming gambling market. He states “Serbia is an exciting new market for our brand, Rizk. We’re eager to replicate our successes in other markets as we see tremendous potential and opportunities awaiting us there.” Andrew Valenzia also says that the dedicated team of Rizk Casino will start the operators on the new Serbian market with the same level of enthusiasm and energy that resulted in impressive achievement in other markets.

The words of appreciation for the Rizk team were also expressed by Ronni Hartvig, Chief Commercial Officer of Betsson Group. He is impressed with their performance and achievements in recent years. He also noted that he anticipates seeing how they apply their knowledge and expertise in the Serbian market. 

The company does not mention when the launch of Rizk Casino in Serbia will take place, but it should happen in the near future.
